
This is a cool and refreshing simple Greek Yogurt Sauce. Perfect for the hot summer days. It goes great on Chicken, Pork or even use it as a dip for cut up veggies! ENJOY!!
Cucumber Greek Yogurt Sauce
Ingredients:
16oz Plain Greek Yogurt
Juice from 1/2 Lemon
2/3 of a Seedless Cucumber – grated, also called “Hot House” or “English” Cucumbers
2 tbsp fresh Dill, diced
Salt & Pepper to taste
Place yogurt in a small bowl, add lemon juice, dill, salt and pepper. Stir. Grate the cucumber and let sit in a mesh drainer, you can also squeeze out the extra liquid in a cloth. Make sure the cucumber is not to moist. Add it to the yogurt sauce and stir. Let sit in your fridge for at least a half hour, this will let the flavors marry and the dip to be nice and chilled.
Serve with your favorite chicken, pork or fish. Also makes a great dip for cut up veggies!!
